THE VISITOR, the debut feature film by our beloved Vytautas Katkus, will have its world premiere in the Crystal Globe Competition at the 59th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival this July! ✨
Following a string of internationally acclaimed short films, Katkus makes his feature debut with a quiet, emotionally resonant story set at summer’s fading edge.
🍦 Synopsis:
End of summer. Danielius (in mid 30s) makes a return to his hometown to sell his parents’ flat. Having nowhere to rush, he reconnects with people and the town that’s no longer his. He is confronted with a quiet sense of loneliness. But instead of resisting it, he allows himself to explore it.
