We are very happy that CHERRIES by Vytautas Katkus returned home to Lithuania and had it’s national premiere at Vilnius International Film Festival KINO PAVASARIS, where it was screened together with AFTERSUN by Charlotte Wells.
On top of that, it won the best Lithuanian short film award!

This intergenerational portrait skillfully uses subtleness and precision, authenticity and poetry to describe the passing of time through the relationship of a son and his father. The author creates a unique cinematic language to depict the touching yet complex relationship between past and present.
